Ive mixed my barred rock hen with my americauna Roo.It is my understanding that the should make a sex link but i just dont know which one is the hen or which is the roo here are a few picks they are about 4 weeks old..

I just hatched three chicks in my incubator the roo was from Ideal an EE and the hens were EE as well. I noticed that the legs are not slate on the chicks .Will the EE gene not be carryed over to my chicks?

We just hatched out 3 EE +Barred rock chicks 2 EE and 1 EE+RIR . Used the egg carton method and worked great 6 out of 6 eggs. Much less cleanup.

Yep I agree brown leghorn. I have one and she is a very nice looking chicken that was the only way I could tell mine apart when they were little was by their feet.
My Orpington and Americana's seem to be my quietest birds but I think just might be the personality of the bird and not the breed like everyone is saying.
