Thank you for the replys. The girls are normally out and about in a large fenced in yard during the day with plenty of things to occupy them...mostly dust bathing and scratching around in my mulch pile which they have spread over a 40' section! lol I have one that is just starting to molt now...
I just witnessed one of my hens grabbing neck feathers on another one, pull, remove a couple feathers and eat one of them? What on Earth? The other hen just sat there and continued to eat afterward, than the hen did it again until I intervined. And both went off together and continued bug/green...
Oh yeah...they loved the garden alright! lol They had gotten in through the picket fence gate as a couple of the slats were missing....it was funny as all to see them all hightail it toward and through there!

I just recieved my new rug yesterday! It reminds me of my three Delaware hens, Cindy, Rosie and Pru...I LOVE it!
