Winter time gravity fed nipple waterer
I have a chicken fountain and I love it. I can't go back to filling a gross bucket this winter. My plan is to use gravity feed and heat the water. My question is can I use the electric heater base that used to go under my metal water bucket with a 5 gallon plastic bucket (lowes type bucket)...- Mmdieter

pics of our coop-we made a coop/shed for our 6 girls
The babies we brought home... they grow so quickly some of the coop framing, window in the back and vent on the side the left side of the structure is a shed, the right side is the coop, every wall is insulated. they finally get to move out of the box and into their new home they like...- Mmdieter

The first white one is also one of the white ones in the group picture. Does that mean both of the white Delewares are probably roos? They look pretty similar. At what age do you know for sure?- Mmdieter

I bought 6 chicks that should have all been females. I am wondering if I got a male or two in the bunch. I think I got 2 Rhode Island reds, 2 Delawares and 2 americauna. They are about 12 weeks old.- Mmdieter
