Is she sick or being bullied?

I have only had my 6 girls for 10 days, all are adult of different types. all the other chickens will not let the americana eat or have treats until they are done. She is very wary when approching the other birds and gets pecked and chased when she gets too close. what do you all think?

    They are home.

I picked up my girls yesterday. 2 black sex links, 2 barred rocks. I was told the one in the back lays blue eggs. One of the black ones has feathers on its legs but I don't know what it is either. We are working around them to finish the coop.

    New chickens

I will be getting 4 1 year old barred rock hens tomorrow, They will be laying fertile eggs. I would like one batch of chicks from them. should I keep one hen alone with her own nest box? These are my first chickens I have had, what is your advise?

We decided on a bigger coop.

I talked my hubby in to expanding our planned coop it will be 5' wide with a roof sloping from 7 down to 4 ft. The roof will drop 1 foot ever 3 foot of coop. That should give me enough room for 8 birds comfortably. I am excited to get it finished so I can bring some chickens home.

    Hi from Alaska!

I have never raised chickens and I have a 4x4 insulated coop with 5x15 run. Can someone advise me on how many chickens I should get?
