We decided on a bigger coop.

I talked my hubby in to expanding our planned coop it will be 5' wide with a roof sloping from 7 down to 4 ft. The roof will drop 1 foot ever 3 foot of coop.That should give me enough room for 8 birds comfortably. I am excited to get it finished so I can bring some chickens home.

You won't regret it. If chickens turn out not to be your thing, you can use it as a tool shed or garden shed. Or, if you fall victim to chicken math, you'll be able to squeeze a few more in it than initially planned.
