Here is my new angora doe. She is 4 months old and very sweet. We have just started letting her out with the "big boys". So far everyone seems to be getting along.

I got home this evening and noticed a big white bird swimming on my pond. At first glance, I thought it was my male sebastopol (since my female is on her nest). But no curly feathers! It was a SWAN! It's wing was trimmed so it must be someone's pet. I guess tomorrow I start asking around...

My girls have stopped laying in the coop. These aren't new chickens and most are 2 years old. Recently they started laying all over the barn (loft, behind rabbit cages, in the goat pen). Nothing else has changed with their schedules or in the coop. I don't like to hunt for eggs everyday but...

I have a five month old polish cockerel that is very mean to all the other chickens. He is pulling feathers and grabbing the hens by the legs. He's not trying to breed just being aggressive. I'm new to polish. Is this normal polish behavior?
