Mud, Mud, and more Mud!!! HELP!?!?!?

In Maryland clay all over. This sounds like a great experiment for me. Just have to find out how much more I can spend after going over a bit on new coop. Just purchased rain barrel and drip waterer from local poultry supply on a trip to NC. I will have to call around to see what is available...

    MARYLAND THREAD!

The law on registering birds is ignorant. I agree. You don't see half of the people registering their dogs, cats, rabbits, or any other pet? Don't know of any other reason than to be that onset complaining neighbor or to have a future tax. Remember guys a chicken coop is a structure and as...

New Coop on hold "Funding" hot and sticky

Well it's a good ole fashioned Maryland summer. Up to 100 or over some days and whew, wet, sticky air. It gets so thick here in central and southern Maryland, any bugs that may bump into you stick and can't escape.Biggest problem I face is how to make the feeder and food stop getting rotten and...

    New here from Maryland.

I am new here and have 10 laying hens total. About 4 layers now and some younger to soon start. My hand raised favorites (since the flock would not take these new comers after months of just being 8 in one pen) Americauna's. Have 2 and they are not aggresive at all and love for me to hold them...
