I'm pretty sure my chicken had damage to her brain. Mine was doing the same, then all of the sudden she died one day while we were gone. I hope yours makes a full recovery!

I got her feeling better, and she seemed to be getting better, but sadly she died after 5 weeks. I'm pretty sure there was damage to the brain.

It turns out it was throw-up. It is now more mucus than foam, and it is stuck in her mouth. She is a lot more responsive and active than yesterday

Same as yesterday, eyes closed, gets up moves around and lays down again, doesn't like the water, won't eat the food.

Yes, her eyes were already closed. OK. I wasn't sure. I can wet her mouth, but she doesn't swallow. She will mouth her tongue around but that is it.

I really don't want to try that yet. Any idea how long she can go without food? I would probably do that as a last resort if at all. Does anyone know why she keeps her eyes closed? They don't look like they have been injured.

My hen was bitten in the head by a raccoon last night/early this morning, and she has been very still and not really drinking anything. I have tried a dropper, but every time I do it, she pulls her head away and turns around. Her head is also still bleeding.
