They just poked around them at first, but then went in.. I didn't put them on at first, so they laid in the boxes without the curtains.. I put the curtain on and they went right in and laid.. I think they like the privacy...

And these have the lip on them already to hold the straw in.. They are really perfect for a nest box.. The only thing I did was cut part of the lid off, and paint it..

She is 12wks old.. Pretty sure she is a she... Her dark coloring makes me thing this... Most "hes" are lighter..
