Silkies are usually "easier" to sex when they lay or crow haha, but seriously. Personally it's easier to sex when 4-6 months old :)

Hey jenni, I also have an Rcom mini. I find that the regular indents are good for most chickens eggs (I hatch silkies and jersey giants in there) but the small egg tray is only good for quail eggs or smaller. However, I was going to TRY to fit Old English bantam eggs.
