    Hey- Thanks! I had assumed that smaller and finer was actually easier for them to eat. Yes, the feed store messed up- it was a new person just learning lol- ended up with layer crumbles too rather than mash.. The chickens should be good with it all if the ducks aren't..

    It's almost like dried and sliced corn kernals. The cracked is almost ground- very fine.... I have 8 ducks; 5 Welsh Harlequins, 1 Khaki Campbell and 1 Goldstar, and 1 cross between a Welsh Harlequin and a Khaki Campbell (I think). They are mixed ages. What about you?

    Rescue Fly Traps and Predators

    Hi there- does anyone have any experience with the Rescue Fly Traps? I bought a couple and hung them tonight, but now I am worried that they may attract bears onto our property- I didn't realize they were quite so stinky! We do have bears out here but so far they've stayed away. Thanks!

    Hi Everyone, New Member:)

    Hi all- I just wanted to introduce myself- I'm new here! I'm from Thunder Bay Ontario and have never had chickens before. We have 4 layers and 10 day olds coming this Spring. Very excited and looking forward to learning as much as possible!
