What color variant is this bird? The picture is kind of bad, but it is golden in color with black dots on the back with a very lightly golden breast fading to white toward the tail. It has never crowed that I've been able to tell and when I put it with my other roo, there has been no animosity.

Well my wife today was trimming bushes and cut a portion out with a dove nest in it. Two hatchlings were in it, not sure of ages, no feathers yet and still had egg tooth on their beaks. One is slightly larger than the other one. The nesting dove stuck around for a while, but would not come back...

Hi all, Any prospectors on here? I have been prospecting for gold and native artifacts for three years. I use sluices, pans,metal detectors, and built myself a dredge last year. Mostly I seem to just remove lead from waterways, but its enjoyable non the less.

I have about 20 quail eggs I was unsure if were good or not, and guess what? All the ones I checked show embryo movement. I even made a short video of it, but not sure if I can post it, or if anyone can view or not since it's in my SkyDrive. Was awesome to see though.

Hi everyone, I am from western Ohio and beginning with incubating quail eggs for my dad's farm. So far, so good. 80 out of 100 Georgia giants are showing development on day six. This site/forums have helped me greatly with a lot of useful information and stories. Thank you all.
