Help my chicken has a swollen leg and has a hard time walking on it.

We tried soaking her leg but it has not got any better. She still can't walk on it. I wonder if it's broken?

Help my chicken has a swollen leg and has a hard time walking on it.

The leg seems even more swollen. Not sure what to do. If it's a disease I wonder if it needs to be culled so that the other chickens don't get it. She seems like she is in a lot of pain when she tries to walk. My son would be very sad.

Help my chicken has a swollen leg and has a hard time walking on it.

Thanks for the advice. I looked under her foot and there are no obvious signs of injury. I will look up gout to see what causes it etc.

Not sure if it's a disease or an injury. She's been limping for aprox two weeks.

Help new to this, one of our Australorps can walk on one of her legs.

Here is some pictures. The coop has always been really clean etc. Her weaker/injured leg is quite swollen. Anyone experienced this before. She's one of my kids pets so we really want her to be ok.

New to this. Is this chicken a roo or pullet? Thank you!

Thanks for the advice. All the hens picked on him for a long time. Since he was new to the group. I guess he will have the last laugh when he is bigger then the rest.

New to this. Is this chicken a roo or pullet? Thank you!

Can anyone tell me if this chick is a roo or pullet? We bought it at a chicken swap. They said it was a pullet. I am starting to think its a roo. Also it's half rir and half ameraucana. Is there a way to know if it has the blue egg gene?
