    November Hatch-A-Long (2014)

My final stats on the batch of 16 I entered into this HAL. (I think I only entered this batch. Idk I couldn't find my first post, nor my name on the chart. But I think this was the only one.) Of the 16 set due on Nov 22: 9 made it to the second trimester. 9 survived the move to GA. 9 were...

    November Hatch-A-Long (2014)

@Kaylish, thanks! We are actually in a lil bit of a pickle. We have run out of ideas for our last chick. LoL So far Nugget, Gizard, Chow, Mein, Dumplin, Fry, and Patty have been assigned to our meat chicks, and Omlet, and Benedict has already been assigned to our egg-layer chicks. We have one...

    December Hatch-A-Long 2014

My last batch dropped into the 70's for nearly a whole day during a move around day 6-7. All 9 survived to lockdown. 7 survived to hatch. 2 were alive until one got dropped on the other. (But I am still giving them a few days to be certain they didn't survive the incident.) Best of luck to you!

That is a great idea! I just found out where the nearest Tractor Supply is. That might be a good way to meet some new friends here, too! :)

I was hoping to have them in time for the New Year's HAL, but even if I don't get them in time, I would like to set them as soon as I can.

    YO GEORGIANS! :)

Bummer. If I don't find anything down here soon, I may take a trip back to SC and try my luck there. I would rather not have shipped eggs. :(

Anyone near Savannah have any green or blue (or any color besides white, cream or tan) eggs for sale or trade? Or know where I can get some? I don't know where anything is down here. LoL

    December Hatch-A-Long 2014

My last batch had 2 early birds, 3 on time birds, 2 late birds, and 2 eggs I have merely not had the heart to give up on, yet. By comparing their development to the video every time I candled, I was able to note which ones to expect early or late. Thus far this has been 100% accurate in my own...

    December Hatch-A-Long 2014

I have been using the Hatchabatch app for my last several batches. I really enourage everyone to go to their fb page and check out the link to the video they posted. Even the company who put out the app encourages humidity adjustments and estimated hatchdates to be based more on development than...
