We had 2 Pekin ducks; a male and a female. Something got the male. It broke its neck and pulled feathers off his neck. The female ran to my son's house and got under their porch. Should we get another male duck?

What we bought was "Just One Bite" which is also a bar-type poison. They ate it like crazy and was dying left and right. Then, like I said, it seems like the word got out and they quit eating that and started eating our eggs again.

This is our first time with Pekin Ducks. She has laid 7-8 eggs in one place, but we don't see her sitting on them. How do you know if she's laid them to hatch or is just putting them in one place?

My brother-in-law took some of my eggs and hatched them in an incubator. Do these chicks have to be kept away from the flock?

Something is going on with my hens. Once before I thought they molted, but their feathers came back in lighter in color. Now they are doing this. This one also has a spot on her back, just before her tail feathers. Some have a spot on their chest and others on their back. What to do?

Both coops have a drip system for water, so all I have to do is feed, gather eggs and keep them clean and healthy, hopefully.
