Where did the veins in egg go?!

This egg is much larger then the other so I'm not sure if the air sac is okay for its size but it definitely looks too large for only a week old egg. I have been using a little giant 9300 I believe it is, the humidity has been steady at 50%. I bought a hygrometer and in certain areas of the...

Where did the veins in egg go?!

I am not sure if it would make a difference but I realized I forgot to mention this is a Jumbo Pekin egg. Do you think that would make a difference? Some people had said the air sac looked a little too big, could that be because it is a Jumbo Pekin??

Where did the veins in egg go?!

This is day 8, the blob moves when the egg is rotated. I am thinking it may be a quitter. Not sure though.

Where did the veins in egg go?!

There is now an obvious black blob in the egg, I am guessing this means he has died :/

Where did the veins in egg go?!

Hello everyone!! I am hatching 2 Pekin duck eggs. One ended up being a yolker and I am left with one that seems promising. I am on day 7 of incubation today and noticed that on day 5 I had a few veins, and now I see none. There is a little dark spot that moves when I turn the egg. I also think I...

    Start to a blood ring?

Thank you! I compared the day 4 pic to some other hatchers pictures and they look pretty similar so I think you are right! I had another question you may be able to answer, I have another egg that is also on day 5 and has absolutely no development still. I am going to leave alone and check...

    Start to a blood ring?

Hello, this is my first time incubating. It is also my first time candling. I got the best picture from candling from the side. I have pekin duck eggs that are on day 5! This photo was taken late night on day 4 of incubation. It looks like a very faint ring is beginning to form around the veins...
