For some reason now they moved to the middle of the coop. And left the remaining eggs. 2 more hatched and only 3 eggs remain. I put the one hen ontop of them and she stayed there for now. I hope she stays there.

Ok well they seem to be Co mothering. The chicks mainly stick with the black hen she's the boss. But they switch sides all the time and if one goes out of the coop the chicks go to the other hen and vice versa. Should I just let them be then? Them all seem to get alonggood. Even the rooster...

Well today I went in the coop and there was 5 eggs next to the door!!! All had nice shells, good color. Quite surprised. So I put up the nesting boxes and right away one hen was in there digging it out and making a nest! I have 8 hens and one rooster (orange one)

At what age do they start breeding? I'd like to possibly keep one, But the others gotta go. I will more then likely butcher some of the boys but I'd like them as big as possible.

Hey thanks so much I suspected the big orange one and the big black one were males. The orange one has been trying to crow but he doesn't seem very good haha
