    Soft shells with older chickens about 1-2 years old

    Question now some of our chickens are laying soft eggs. We give them plenty of oyster shell etc. Any suggestions thanks. This has been for 1 week or so.

    After losing one hen to mites we sprayed our flock with permethrin to kill the mites the 6 hens stopped laying for a week now?? We tried DE first but that did not work!! So had to use the permethrin to get rid of mites thanks for any ideas to get them laying again

    Chicken has molted and has not returned to laying its winter.

    Thanks for any help, We have a bird who eats but her comb and wattle is pink not red and personally not the same, was dominant now stays away from the flock. No longer comes when called.
