the wild bird seed is mostly millet seed. i live very rural-- NO stores for miles. is millet ok to give to 3 day chicks? i do reckon they eat them in nature at birth
Howdy y'all and HELP! in a scrap. Feed store miles away and i have chicks to feed. i have egg maker, cracked corn, wild bird seed, sunflower seed to choose from. the egg maker likely has excessive calcium, but could i mix it with the crack? any other ideas? in the wild they would be eating grass...
i can only fit 6 lg or 9 sm eggs. the instructions say they need at least 1/5" space all around/ i leave a little more room. to check it, you can put the eggs in the tray and then move the tray on the tracks to see if they effectively roll. good luck!
