I have 14 rooster that need to go asap.
They were born on April 16 and now starting to fight big time, upsetting the girls.
There is Amerucanas, Buff Orps and 3 SALs/ISAs roos.
Also 3 older SAL hens, that are still laying, have to go as I need the space for the young ones.
Border line...
I just got this in my email from Urban Harvesters.
This sure made me wonder if I will be able to continue growing plants to feed them.
Whats going to be in my plants? :mad:

There is no prices on their site, although a large choice of breeds.
Wish we had more hatcheries...

I have been writing back and forth with them but can't get them to say HOW much is the cost of the silkies are - per bird.
Four emails later, I still can't find out costs and IF the ones I want, are available.

I also use the deep method, pine shavings over a wood floor.
I put in a new layer in spring to get rid of the winter stuff.
In fall I put in a new 6" (at least) layer so I know that it is dry as well as thick enough to help keep them warmer.
