    i kinda squeezed behind the egg and it came out, i cleaned it very well with saline solution and pushed everything back in. I did not feed her for a day and she seem to be doing well.

    So I have had chickens for many years and this, was the first time this has ever happened to me. To say the least it was an interesting experience for not only peanut but also myself. I got the egg out safely but everything has not gone back to normal. Anyone have any experience with this?

    I personally would just wait a little longer and see what happens, you can also take a picture everyday of the eggs with the light to see if there any more improvement by the end of the week. Hope all go well.

    Coyote...

    Just for added security you can always put a wood 2X4 along the bottom of the fence just as back up. I also when i made my coop because we have a bad coyote problem, we brought the fence 2 feet into the ground. To stop them from digging their way in.

    Help!! Does it matter which way the egg is?!

    i agree with Auroradream, just keep an eye on it but for now you should be ok. I had the same problem when I incubated my eggs, I think I was just so excited for them to come and made myself nervous.
