Hello! I have a 6 week old Easter egger it’s a cross between a welsummer and a crested red and splash Easter egger rooster. I’m curious if people think it’s a pullet or rooster. It has red leakage which usually says rooster but I don’t know how accurate that is with barnyard mixes. Thanks

Ok perfect I think I’m gonna try the permethrin dust since the weather is colder now. Hopefully I can do it quickly at night and get them while they sleep. Then do the coop the next morning and lock the chickens out while it settles. Thank you for the help!

I know! It really is! You wait so long and it starts seeming so close but it’s not! I got 4 today so they are really getting going lol

They are beak blinders ☹️. I had to put them on bc they were pecking each other so bad. And half had bare backs and no tails. So I put them on so they could grow their feathers back for winter. I hate having them on but they do just fine when them thankfully.
