    Good Job!! I am on day 12 of Jumbo Coturnix and I couldn't candle them either. The light won't pass through. The bobwhite are easy to candle and see veins...even for a beginner like me!!

    Yes,so far its kept the dog out for almost a month. The dog is used to staying within fence boundaries and she won't dig under it. I am lucky to have a very behaved dog, Thanks for the comments everybody!

    Good point on closing in the sides. The center stays dry but the inner sides do get wet, i noticed that the last time it rained. I will get that done tomorrow and post a picture.

    Finished my quail coop outdoor run. I started with a chicken coop given to me by another member here. Added the run with polycarbonate roof. The coop has a divider starting inside the coop extending to the run. Let me know what you think. Check out video of it:
