Haha, me again looking for photos. For this project, on recessive white vs dominant white, I need photos of (you guessed it) recessive white, and dominant white birds, but most importantly, paint birds as I do not have high quality pictures of the paint variety. They don't have to be great...
Thank you. 🤗 I've tried asking for pictures from members on BYC but got no response. Even asked on Facebook but it was the same story: treated with Elector PSP and forgot to take pictures. I'll keep searching. 🙃
WOW, This is VERY helpful, thank you! Sadly I couldn't quite find what I was looking for, but I'm sure it will be very helpful for looking for pictures of less specific things. Should save me a lot of time. Thank you again!
Yes they do. My channel isn't monetized yet but may be in the future when it can be. That's really the main reason why I wasn't sure about it. I'm not sure if she would like photo credit but I'm absolutely willing to give it if she wants! I just wasn't sure since most people probably don't want...
Hi all! I've been working on a video project (that will be on YouTube) regarding molting. I wanted to include a small section on lice/mites so people could tell the difference and act accordingly. It's aimed at people that are very new to chickens and I figured the more information I could share...
This one might seem a bit strange, but I think my D'Uccles would have fun with it! Since I can't always free range them, I've been looking for mentally stimulating items to keep them entertained. Today I was putting some preventative medication in their water and was using a colorful set of...
Hi all! I'm working on a project on molting chickens and wanted to briefly go over lice/mites. I know lice/mites don't cause molting. ;) It's geared towards new chicken owners and since I've been seeing so many new people confuse molting for lice/mites, I wanted to include a bit of info on it to...
It didn't. 🙃 Turns out her eggs weren't fertile. I've never forget Skunk but honestly I only vaguely remember trying to hatch her eggs! I've since learned more about chicken genetics for other reasons. If I had to guess now I would say they'd probably have messy incomplete lacing if the Sebright...
Definitely are both roosters. The saddle feathers are the easiest way to tell especially at this age. 😁 As cherrynberry said above, a bachelor pad would be best. Looks like these two are getting along which is good. 🙂
This one is confusing. :hmm At 5 months judging by the wattle size I'd say hen. But the overall body stance looks more rooster-ish to me, although generally the large TSC silkies do look that way. 😁 I'm gonna say pullet, but would love to hear if it starts crowing or laying in a few more weeks. 🙂
He's stunning! The project has been completed, but I'll keep him in mind if I need another! Thanks a bunch! So sorry you lost him, he looks very handsome. 😍
