Your one with the dark stripe is female. males do not have the perfect black outline the females do. Solid black lines in chipmunk pattern with broken black lines on males.

She still has some growing to do so may turn red completely not sure yet.

I have no clue but I am going through the same thing whatever happened to that poor chick. I see no yolk but definitely a vein so i have put back with towels after wetting down with q-tip. But just at a stall point I see breathing. So just curious to see how yours went
