    Bacopa plant

I liveon Maui. There is an empty lot next door and after a much needed week of rain a lot of Bacopa has sprung up. My ducks gobble it up when I gather it. How much is too much? They love it so much but I don't want to over do it.

What breed of ducks do I have?

Other birds eating my hen's food

Here in Hawaii there really aren't any predators for free ranging chickens except maybe mongoose - but they're pretty small. I have three13 week old hens living in a coop with a temporary 4 foot fence around the structure that gives them about 15 feet of free space to roam. I eventually will let...

    Maui Chicken Mom

Hi, I just joined this group and want to learn about raising hens on Maui. I've been on island for 7 years and love it here. I lived in Washington State before and had a few chickens and two ducks that roamed around the Bed and Breakfast that I ran. My guests loved that I served them fresh...
