this was my very first time butchering a chicken, i have cleaned and processed fish and clams before and never felt bad...
After I butcher the chicken I will then let it sit in cold iced water for 2 hours (unbagged)
then I will slice up the chicken in pieces and put inside of a ziplock bag to let is "rest" in the fridge for 3 days
after 3 days, I will put the bagged chicken in the freezer.
is this the correct way...
yes, they are all together lol.
i do have 1 small rooster (he is the smallest out of all of them), this cornish, and 4 hens who are 7 weeks old.
they only pick on the cornish, lol.
im actually surprised the hens pick on this rooster.. he needs to grow some chickens balls and man up.
i bought my chicks from Wilco. it's a farm store, but i called it a chicken store lol
