Here is my 23 week old Silver Laced Wyandotte, Lacy. I haven't seen her lay an egg yet so I don't know for sure. Here are some pics of her. Also, do most Silver Laced Wyandottes have odd combs like this? Thanks!

I let my 16 chickens out in the morning, during the day they laid eggs in the coop (rather than in the nesting box as usual) cracked them open, and ate them. One of the eggs I found had no shell. Was it a calcium deficiency? Please comment

Okay, so today I got my first egg! I am literately jumping up and down. The weird thing is it was white, but I don't have any chickens that lay white eggs except for mabey some easter eggers. I a chicken's first egg usually lighter than usual? Please reply.

No she does not crow, but if she is a hen she will start laying in about 3 weeks

That does not look like a silver laced wyandote.......hmmmm idk what it is but I'm pretty sure it isn't a silver laced.
