Thanks, that was my instinct, I do tend to be more cautious as well. We’ll focus on bigger breeds when finding new girls to integrate. And definitely a good point about ensuring a way to hide or take a break if needed!

On Monday morning, I went to feed the ducks and chickens, and one of my ducks is missing. :( No real signs of a struggle, the other ducks didn’t seem worked up, no pile of feathers or anything, just gone. The ducks refuse to sleep inside now that it’s spring, and all last summer they slept in...

Not noticeably, I haven’t noticed any significant odour. That would make sense. Sounds like she’ll just regularly get baths then! :)

I think she’s laying infrequently, but I’m not completely sure. Last fall she did lay, some soft-shelled, some normal, but not sure recently. Is there anything to be done re: leaking??
