Hi everyone,
I have a 3 yr old hybreed who has been great in laying all her life. This winter she moulted but still has not recovered from it. I have given her extra protein in her meals and have checked for mites lice etc. Done a top to bottom spray and spring clean of her coop as I did...
Thank you so much for your advice. I have watched the video and may try it. Will she ever lay again. Or will doing this just help her until we have to do it again and give some relief.
Yeah I can go and take some, her breathing is okay at the moment, She does rest a lot now though. But does manage to fight the new girls still if they get in her way.
She is just over 2, but has not laid since before Christmas. I gave the whole flock the Heygates flubenvet Layers Pellets. I have been trying the epsom salt baths as well with no luck. She eats a little and drinks. but underneath feels just like full of fluid. She looks so sad. I did also...
My little girl has a bloated belly and messy bum. She will eat and drink but looks so uncomfortable and I want to help her. Has any one any advice to make her better. I am told you can’t cure but make her feel better.
Ah okay. So they have layers pellets and grass and I also give treats if spinach sweetcorn spring greens What sort of food would you say for protein?? Could give that a try. I could also try giving them their football to play with I brought one for chickens that you fill up with treats I...
Yeah, she wasn’t happy taking them. Bless. I have noticed 2 today now have them same places. But are eating drinking and laying fine and seem really happy?
Ah so sorry to hear this. My little one is the same today slow not laying and a tiny bit of white mess around her bum. Her coup is full but just not herself. The others don’t like me touching her as if they know she is not well.
Hi ya, Yeah a big pot of oyster shell in there all the time. That's great advice I will do that as well. I have had 2 normal eggs today but will still do this to be on the safe side.
Thanks :thumbsup
