Easter eggers stopped laying.. After restarting

I guess I'm surprised it's a false start because all the other chickens (including younger EE) are laying now, and we live in the south. It's been spring weather and we get 12+ hours of daylight right now.

Easter eggers stopped laying.. After restarting

We have a bunch of Easter egger chickens (9 - 5mon, 3 - 1yr, 2 - 3month). About a month ago our older Easter eggers started laying again (we assume it was the restart after winter break), however about a month ago they stopped again (about 2 weeks after the restart). During this time we also...

    Silkie Color and breeding questions

So we have 11 'silkies' (pretty sure one is a half breed based on feathering). They'll be staying in their own flock, although we probably will take Mudblood (the half-breed) out and put it with our other flock. We've been able to identify some of which are boys and girls, but have a few...

    Sexing Easter Eggers

Best picture I have right now of Dodo's saddle feathers. I'll have to take a new one if this doesn't help.

    Sexing Easter Eggers

11 Week old EE chickens. Pecker (Rooster? - pretty sure this is a rooster, but we're first time chicken owners;)) Fuzzbucket - We think is a hen? This is the flightest of our EE Dodo - also a hen? Dodo #2 as they were very similar coloring and personality when chicks. Cross beak is...

    Sexing Easter Eggers

Any guesses on these two hatched EE chicks? They're just over 3 weeks old, we're thinking brown/copper is boy, and black/white we can't decide...

    Chicken Hernia Yolk Sac?

It has been pecking/eating food, but still reluctant to drink water on it's own. I think it has to do with it's feet/balance, but it can and is slowly wandering around the box for temperature regulation. We are using sav-a-chick in it's water, but I'll get some b-complex while i'm out today...

    Chicken Hernia Yolk Sac?

So after more reading, I believe this is the chick's navel, not vent. Not sure if it's yolk sac or what, but it is drying up now and little chick is acting okay. Still sleepy, but eats/drinks on occasion. Should I let it dry up or try to keep it moist? Little chick has pooped at least once...

    Chicken Hernia Yolk Sac?

The chick looks a little better today, more alert. I got it to drink a couple swallows and eat one or two grains of it's food. That's better than last night. Also seems to like normal temps again. It wanted to be kinda hot last night.

    Chicken Hernia Yolk Sac?

Have a newly hatched chick that isn't doing well. It was a slow hatch compared to others of same breed, too 30ish vs. 15 hours after pipping to emerge. It also had other chicks preventing it hatching by standing in the way, but was not helped by us looking on. Soon after hatching we noticed...
