    Anyone have pictures of Hoovers English Orpingtons? I know they aren't going to be as nice as a breeder's like Carolina Rare Chicks or Papa's but i'm super curious how they have grown out for anyone who has purchased from Hoovers in the past?

    The Yokohamas and Hudans will be from Cackle, the colored layers will be from Hoover, and the Orpingtons from a local breeder.

    Chicken Breed Focus - Yokohama

    How warm should they be kept in the winter? I am going to try raising and breeding Yokohamas this year for the first time. I understand they are not cold tolerant but how warm should I keep them in the winter? I live in Utah and we get snow and freezing temps.

    Yokohama: How Cold is Too Cold

    I ordered several Yokohamas this year to try and start a new breeding line but I'm getting nervous because I know they are not cold hard. I live in Utah in a planting zone 6a. I'm planning on getting them into an enclosed coop and an outdoor run, but how concerned do I need to be about them...
