    Buff Orpington gender?

I just remembered last year we got “Easter Eggers” from them that turned out to be Welsummers so I guess I have heard of them mixing up breeds🤦🏼‍♀️ I completely forgot!

    Buff Orpington gender?

She is WAY bigger than all the others, so that would make sense! I’d never heard of them mixing up breeds before, just genders.

    Buff Orpington gender?

Is there any chance my buff, popcorn, on the left is not a cockerel? “She’s” my favorite so I’m really hoping she’s a she since we aren’t allowed Roos

    Large crop? Impacted crop?

I thought so, but I’ve never noticed this before in any of our others! Yes, we are feeding them starter crumbles!

    Large crop? Impacted crop?

We got some babies at Tractor Supply yesterday, and I noticed ones crop is large. I’m not sure if it’s impacted? Shes a buff Orpington, and I’m not sure how old.

    RIR any chance she’s a girl🤞🏼

I just noticed the saddle feathers on one of our buffs, also 18 weeks. Her comb is the same size as our other ones. Is this one I should keep an eye on too😅 lol

    RIR any chance she’s a girl🤞🏼

Acts the same! Only thing I’d say that’s different is the comb, and he/she’s smaller than our others (we have buff orpingtons, black sex link, and a blue laced Wyandotte)

    RIR any chance she’s a girl🤞🏼

Definitely won’t be getting rid of her unless she starts to crow and makes the neighbors mad😂

Unfortunately where we live we can’t have Roos. I’ve been holding out hope since it hasn’t crowed yet.

    RIR any chance she’s a girl🤞🏼

This is our only Rhode Island Red, she’s always had a larger comb and wattles than the other breeds we got at the same time. She’s 18 weeks, no crowing or anything yet. She blinked for the second picture😂 but it shows her compared to the others!

Do we have a roo in the mix?

Fingers crossed! What would be signs of it being a cockerel that I can watch for?

Do we have a roo in the mix?

We got them from Tractor Supply, so we suspected that they may not all be pullets.

Do we have a roo in the mix?

Oh no😭 that’s what I was afraid of. One of the sweetest ones, but we can’t have roosters where we live.

Do we have a roo in the mix?

I have suspicions that one of our pullets, is in fact, not a pullet. We have a Black Sex Link, Blue Lace Wyandotte, and Rhode Island Red that I’m questioning. All around about 6-7 weeks I believe.
