I have suspicions that one of our pullets, is in fact, not a pullet. We have a Black Sex Link, Blue Lace Wyandotte, and Rhode Island Red that I’m questioning. All around about 6-7 weeks I believe.

Oh no that’s what I was afraid of. One of the sweetest ones, but we can’t have roosters where we live. All look like pullets to me. Although the RIR may possibly be a cockerel.
Sadly it is most likely a cockerel.Oh no that’s what I was afraid of. One of the sweetest ones, but we can’t have roosters where we live.
But I do think it possibly could just be a fast developing pullet!Sadly it is most likely a cockerel.
We got them from Tractor Supply, so we suspected that they may not all be pullets.Your RIR would go on my 'hope' list... more comb and wattle than I'd want for pullets that age. But, with hatchery RIR and Barred Rocks (not that you've got one) they can 'go early'!
Fingers crossed! What would be signs of it being a cockerel that I can watch for?But I do think it possibly could just be a fast developing pullet!
