Seems a little odd, I have four right now in my mixed flock of 15 and they are the friendliest and most curious. Also the first four of the 15 to start laying. Small eggs but they are getting bigger
I understand that as mine do too. But whatbI am telling you is the real problem. If you're not familiar with it, you don't understand the importance of wrapping with teflon tape. Mine bump them all the time, chasing each other, chasing bugs whatever. I can turn them back and not have them leak.
Use a lot of teflon tape. The bit that comes with some of the multi pack waterers is too big. I think most include a 3/8ths bit or suggest using that but next size 11/32nd is better. But in most cases people either forget to use teflon tape or only make a single wrap or two around the threads.
USPS and FedEx have agreements to transport mail and packages. Just about all the USPS overnight and urgent mail goes through FedEx. I work at KIND and watch the little transports go from the main sort facility over to the old 46241 post office.
4 Barred Plymouth Rock
4 Black Australorp
4 Golden Laced Wyandotte
4 Americana
not sure what #17 is, it's all grey/blue very pretty bird but looks nothing like any of the other four. I did all pullets but #17 might be a cockeral, it's quite a bit larger than the other 16.
I did a pickup order of 16 pullets and when we got home my wife asked why I ordered an odd number 17. I didn't realize they did the extra on pickup orders too.
