Definitely considering where her egg came from. Those folks have no chickens that aren't mixed bred.

Someone gave us a few eggs and we incubated them and one hatch this little hen. The folks that gave us the egg that she hatched from have like a combination of almost every breed under the sun, all barnyard mixes so we don't know what she is. She has been laying for a month and a half I guess.

I thought so. He hasn't started trying to crow yet even though he is always with another cockerel of the same age that has been crowing for a week. He looks very much like his mother right now so I wasn't sure.
