I just aquired my first roo today hes a beautiful mystic onyx or so i was told. I let him out in my backyard and he has been standing around at times not moving but making this sound i was wondering if anyone can tell me what it might mean? :)

No rooster i got them from a friends son. His dad apparently has over 600 chickens on his property and hes trying to thin down the numbers. Unfortionatly i dont know much about them. Im here to learn and give them their best life. They free range now.

Roosters? Maybe they are bad pictures but they all have been laying eggs everyday. So im confused lol none of them crow or anything.

Hello all im new here to the forums and was trying to ID some of the hens i got. Unfortiinatly i dont know much as they were just dropped of with me by a friend who doesnt know much either lol. I tried to get decent pictures of some but they move alot lol.

Yeah they are walking around eatting and acting like nothing is going on. So as long as they are okay then im fine with it. Ive been getting 4 eggs a day and i have 6 hens so i feel im doing something right lol.

Okay awesome i just felt bad looking at them soaked but they are doing the same. They free range my large backyard all day lol. Im in DFW :)
