We free range our chickens, and we have to cull out some of the young roosters, as we have too many. Any tips on catching them? I really don't feel like waiting until they roost and climbing that tree they roost in.

If she starts making a deep bauk bauk kind of noise and doesn't move around the coop much and stays in the nest box she is broody.

My broody hens were fed normally. So just make sure they have food to eat when they are ready.
