My mini advanced just stopped and it's done. I had 7 fertile eggs in it. Now I have a broody hen who was sitting already for over a week on 3 eggs. I put the other 7 also under her but how big is the chance the hatch??

Hi, Wow it's windy and the news is talking about an upcoming storm.... Just made an order at Omlet for a chicken fencing, it's being send from the UK and should be here Thursday... And now I am off to do some grocery shopping, enjoy the saturday every one.

The rest is doing okay and laying well. Just this little girl was odd and eggbounded

eggbound so that's the word.... When I found her she was a bit warm still and when I lifted her up there was a shell less egg.... This should be her first egg to lay.

I found one of my young hens dead in the nesting box this morning she could not lay her egg. For some reason I always felt something was not ok with her.......

LOVE IT! @Bokki, no they are not Cochins. They could be young wyandottes but as said before the leg color should be more yellow and they look like roo's to me too.... Can you trade them?

Speaking about colors, the partridge variety now that's a color you want see that often anymore in the Netherlands.... which is a shame cause its a beautiful color.
