    I'll try that, thanks! Yes it's pretty thick...they're in our house and that's the only thing that seems to help the smell a bit. :-)

    Can anyone post a link for a nipple waterer that would work in the brooder? All of the ones I've seen are attached to either a very large water container or some kind of large configuration for a coop. But I'm new to this so I probably just dont know what Im looking for. Thanks in advance!

    Yes, sorry I meant to mention that. The water is up on bricks but they kick around the shavings like it's their job and it helped at first but not anymore.
