I am not 100% sure but check out what Cream Legbars are mixed with. These chicks look similar to my son's legbars. The coloring is off, but I am certain that the mix is similar. You may get some pretty blue eggs.

I may not be the best to help you, and coming to a breed page you will find some biases. I am just beginning a new flock. It is the first flock that I have had on my own as an adult. My grandparents loved Welsummers, so they were always around. If you want a bird that can take very good care...

Yes it is! I cannot wait to learn first hand. My grandfather had Welsummer roosters when I was younger. I do not think that he ever had a hen. Those were just his favorite roos. Sometimes he ended up with mutts from them, but never purebreds.

Waiting on my first Welsummers to hatch! Hatch date is the 20th. I am a Newby to this breed, and I am super excited to own a few.
