    Quote: The term booted bantam is NOT a specific breed. Booted means feather footed, & bantam of course means miniature chicken. A silkie can be referred to as being a booted bantam whether it is bearded or not. I hope that clears it up for you. I do believe the bird in question is a D'Uccle tho.
