Jean, I saw the lighter colors in the face on Jeremy's choc chick too in his pics
the bantam chocs I hatched are not crossed to the LF, just both bantam chocs and they were dark all over
is it something from the cross to LF that is giving them light faces at first? I know they will feather in...

What do the other colors of Eng LF Orps weigh? I know I've always heard that chocolate would make you weigh more, but I doubt it effected the chickens.

Chocolate Bantam Swirl laid her first egg yesterday.
Unfortunately, I just treated all the birds with ivermectin so I have to wait til January before I can do anything with her eggs.
