I guess I am getting lax in my old age. Not everyone can afford to buy a high dollar pet from a pristine breeder. There is a place for these puppies too, just as there are for the local hunting dogs. Are you going to try to lecture them too.

I don't think you need that litter certificate, unless you want to pay for it. That is fairly new for AKC, and I just think it was a way for them to make more money from litter owners.

You don't need that other stuff if you just want to register them. You can put together your own puppy care packets with take home instructions, pedigrees on the parents, puppy food, toys , vaccine records, etc.

$25 plus $2 per puppy. It looks like you can do this online too. So for 11 pups that would be $47.

I did not put mine on puppy food if they were on a good quality adult food. Mine were terriers, maybe it is different for big dogs.
