That's the only way I raise my guineas; right with the baby chicks.
The guineas seem to be more docile adults when raised with the chickens.
I usually put the guinea eggs under broody moms.
Otherwise, they're all in the brooder together.
I would just throw a layer of shavings on the bottom.
Once that gets a little soiled, just throw some more shavings on top.
Keep topping it off throughout the brooding period!
Ughh! I just bought some hatching eggs; so here I am again looking for brooder ideas.
