Help day 18 and air sacs are small...

This late in the game you might as well let it ride out. It might surprise you. Besides, many eggs pip outside the air cell when malpositioned and make it out fine. If this guy, doesn't hit the air cell by some miracle, it would pretty much be the same as a malepositioned pipper. I would...

Yes, I did...lol That's what I'm wondering, with it being this far, if it's reattatched itself to the side because it was laying flat. Some don't ever reattatch, but if there's enough growth in the egg, even if it's still freestanding it might not be able to go anywhere.

I would, maybe the air cell will still be able to orient itself near the top so that when he/she pips there's a chance it can pip into the air cell. Does it move when you set it upright at all? (Watch, because I said that it'll be a malepositioned pipper!)

Are they shipped eggs? Often shipped eggs (or eggs that have been overly jostled) will have a detached air cell. Eggs with detatched air cells will fair better if the are incubated and hatched upright in cut down cartons instead on laying on their sides.

That's pretty good! Good luck! Were these shipped eggs? Do you have them sitting upright in cutdown cartons?

That's the best thing you can do. If you are going to be there to monitor them I'd go completely dry tonight and push back lockdown one day.
