The school books from the early 1900s are pretty interesting, just to see the difference between the level kids used to read at, and what they read at now.
I still use my mother's vintage Pyrex mixing bowl set. They don't make them like they used to!
I also have a vintage toaster and waffle maker that I use. They were made to last back then.
I enjoy old architecture, from around 1850-1920. My house was built in 1920, and I have tried to bring some of the originality back to it. I have found matching art deco chandeliers, and some old furniture, as well. I also like old books. I am not afraid of refinishing anything -- I've done...
