That's funny because I started out with Barred Rocks and was too impatient so I ordered from Ideal! Haha

I got my first batch of ideal babies last week. 7 silkies and I think 12 extra Roos for warmth. Well I lost 4 silkies and about 5 Roos now. Today I got my replacement silkies as well as my Cochins and they're PERFECT. Everyone is running around, eating fine, someone actually managed to get out...

Well I have mine in the barn and there's no wind or anything they were soooo tiny so I guess they still got a little chilly :( when I went home at lunch, everyone was doing great and it warmed up quite a bit so hopefully we'll be good :)

Lost 2 last night due to weather. Called Ideal and they are going to replace them with my next order!

That's a good idea. My husband and dad wanna eat them. They're just so sweet to my baby silkies though :/ I'm just a few hours away in Oklahoma! I wouldn't worry about them. I think they'll be fine! :) they little Roos are so good with them!

Just got my babies all settled in! They look GREAT and they're all doing good! I got 7 silkies and 11 Roos..... I have no idea what I'm going to do with the extras.... Lol I will try to figure out how to post pics (I took them on my phone)

I just want this as pets so I'm not complaining :) I have seen some pics but I just love them all! Haha today I ordered some Cochins from them. Do you know how they tend to be?

Well I was so anxious and it turned out to be a good thing! They'll be here in the morning so it looks like I'm headed to Atwoods after work to get some feed! Lol wish me luck on my first chicken adventure :)

Which is completely fine with me because I cannot wait for then to get here and I've had their brooder ready since this weekend
