Yesterday I sold 8 DOZEN! OMG! The last dozen were as fresh as you can get-from the hen house! All but 2 dozen were to new customers!! I couldn't believe it! My average has been 2 dozen a week... even though I get almost 2 dozen a day.

The guy that stopped today said that he saw my flyer down at the store and liked that I had my info on it. I put what kind of chickens I had and that they free range...people like to know that kind of stuff...
2 dozen!! Plus he said he'd come back next week!!
I put up new flyers over the weekend, and put a new sign up at my driveway. Still have like 10 dozen in the fridge, but I am so happy to actually have a customer!!

Sorry to hear about that. Did you try posting on Craigslist?
yes, but the problem is that I am 30 miles from the "metropolis" and people want me to deliver. I will deliver to the local towns for $1 more per dozen with 2 doz minimum purchase...but no one orders.
I am thinking about...

I have 1 rooster with them, so some of them may be fertile. I have 55 eggs in the bator but I only think 2 of them are good...I don't know yet for sure...and this is our first try at incubating so I may have screwed them up...we had some issues with temps in the beginning...
ZERO! I have 14 dozen in the fridge and NO ONE is buying! argh!
I have lowered my price to $1.50 a dozen (was $2.00...) Walmart Eggs ARE HIGHER than mine!! (Walmart is getting $1.64 a dozen!!)
I have a better sign on order--more bright colors and bigger, so hopefully that will help. And...
Was looking for this thread the other day... Saturday I sold 10 dozen eggs! I sold 4 dozen today! WHOO WHO! @ $2.oo a dozen.
and they have layed 16 eggs today... Thinking about buying 25 more layers...
I sold 2 dozen on Monday, and 1 dozen last night. I have 5 dozen in fridge, will probably get another dozen today. I really wish more people would stop.
I am only selling for $1.50 a dozen...
