    Sounds about right, yes!

    Duckling Grow-A-Long!

Well, since you're in Texas you might get them earlier than I do. Any ducklings I get or hatch never start laying until the next year, after winter.

Swedish is female, no doubt about it. So's the Buff, and the WH. Grats on your lovely girls!

    Duckling Grow-A-Long!

Since you paid for females from an 'autosexing' breed, can you request replacements? With those bluish heads, they definitely look drakish to me...

Perfect. I also have niacin tablets on hand that I use for ducklings.

    Duckling Grow-A-Long!

Check to see if it's non-flush (a side effect of niacin). You don't want that kind.

No, they look great! By feather out' they mean when they look like ducks, not ducklings or something in between. :)

    Duckling Grow-A-Long!

Like, permanently? I would wait for all their feathers to be grown in, especially if it's still freezing at night.

    Duckling Grow-A-Long!

He may. He was purchased as a female and technically belongs to my daughter. We might 'trade him in' at the auction next month. Or, I may buy him off her. The smaller of the females is mine anyhow. In any case, he will have a good home. :)

Oh, and his bill is a lighter colour than the two girls.

    Duckling Grow-A-Long!

Took my own Call ducknagers out today. I think (am 99.999% sure, and that .001% is denial) that one is a drake. He has a green sheen to his head already, holds his tail fanned out and the tail feathers are a different colour. The other two have quacked.
